There are two small shopping malls in Majan, the Midtown Central Majan and Majan Shopping Complex. Located less than 10 minutes from Majan, Cityland Mall features the largest hypermarket in Dubailand, as well as 350 retail stores, and a 10-screen cinema. Residents of Majan can also enjoy a choice of supermarkets within the community, including Carrefour, Grandiose, and Al Majan Grocery. Plus, there is a Waitrose supermarket in the adjacent Al Barari. If you want to level up your shopping spirit, there are bigger shopping destinations that are still not too far like the Dubai Outlet Mall which is just 16 minutes away.
There are several small cafes and restaurants in Majan and Al Barari, serving a variety of cuisines, including the popular The Farm restaurant. Plus, Cityland Mall contains over 75 restaurants, so choices are abundant for Majan residents.
There are lots of great attractions for residents of Majan to enjoy in the wider Dubailand area. The incredibly popular Global Village is only 5 minutes away, combining the cultures of over 90 countries to offer events, concerts, food, and shopping. Whilst there are currently no schools within Majan, there are several excellent institutions within the wider Dubailand community. The British Schools of Kent College Dubai, GEMS Winchester School, and the incredibly popular Jumeirah English Speaking School are all less than 10 km away. For those seeking the American curriculum, Dunecrest American School is located in Al Barari, and there are the Fifth Dimension Elementary School and the American School of Creative Science in the nearby Nad Al Sheba.
While Majan is still under development, it is not very convenient for people who rely on public transport. Cars are the dominant mode of transportation. No need to worry if you don't have a vehicle. You can easily book RTA Taxis, Careem, and Uber with just a tap on your phone.
