Your guide to living in Mirdif

Mirdif has been a popular residential community since the 1990s and as Dubai has grown, so has Mirdif, mirroring the city’s development. Established in 2002, the neighbourhood now boasts a population of around 37,000 residents. This cosmopolitan includes residential sub-communities namely Uptown, Shorooq, and Ghoroob with a recent addition of Mirdif Tulip and Mirdif Hills.

Community Overview

Mirdif provides a family-friendly suburban atmosphere which is rare considering its affordability.. Many have chosen to call Mirdif home because it's different from the rest of the city. Living in Mirdiff is truly unique. What sets it apart? Well, it’s not all shiny and modern. The community is developed with a focus on the residents' needs rather than becoming a tourist destination. Unlike most of the areas in Dubai, Mirdif doesn't boast a hotel, further emphasising its residential focus.

Mirdif offers gated and non-gated compounds, local villas, residential apartment buildings, and townhouses. Initially dominated by local owners, introducing a significant freehold development has expanded opportunities for expatriate buyers. Most buildings and villas in the area feature swimming pools, while some also have gym facilities. Additionally, Uptown hosts Fitness First, with separate facilities for ladies and gents. With numerous educational institutions and amenities, it's no surprise that the area has become a favourite community with affordable properties.
