Speed through the mangroves on a personal speedboat!

This is definitely one of the more exciting and thrilling ways to see the Abu Dhabi Mangroves. Guests are able to captain their own boat and take in the natural surroundings at speed.
The flat lagoons make for easy sailing, with the boats being small enough they can get to even the most remote waterways! Go on an adventure and explore the little waterways.If you fancy a break, you can pull up to a deserted island and take a dip in the water!

Take a leisurely cruise on a kayak

If you fancy something a bit slower-paced, why not take a guided kayaking tour of the mangroves? Your guide will take you to some hidden gems, moving at the perfect pace to take in the absolutely stunning surroundings. Especially now that it is cooling down a bit more, this would make a great excursion to do in the mornings or evenings.

Have a go at paddleboarding

If you are good at balancing, you can try paddle boarding either. Just be careful not to fall in! Take a guided tour and gently navigate the winding waterways whilst standing. Just be warned, you need to have stability and balance to succeed with this!

If the summer sun is too hot for strenuous activity, then you can sit down and let someone captain a boat for you. Seating 7-10 people, this educational trip is great for families. Learn all about the amazing ecosystem of the mangroves whilst looking out for any wildlife! With this option, you can relax, completely chill, sit back and take in  your surroundings, without having to do any work.

Discover the local fauna with some bird watching

If being on the water isn’t really your thing, why not see the mangroves from the safety of land, at the Al Jubai Mangrove Park. The new park features three different routes and 6 different educational systems, which tell you all about the different creatures, animals and flora you can see! A casual walk on the longest route will take between 35-40 minutes. The perfect way to get in your daily exercise.
