What’s coming up in Dubai this April

Al Marmoom Heritage Festival 

Celebrate the Emirati culture at Al Marmoom Heritage Festival, where you can watch live camel races, listen to local and international bands, enjoy traditional dancing, and taste some delicious food. 

The festival is perfect for Emirati’s and ex-pats alike, and is a great opportunity to learn about the local culture and way of life. This fun, family-friendly event takes place all day from the 3 till the 12th of April, and is completely free. 

Discover Terra the Sustainability Pavillion 

Take a sneak peak of the highly anticipated Expo 2020 at the exclusive premiere of Terra the Sustainability Pavillion. Experience and learn about some world class innovations through the exhibitions or at one of the many exciting events the venue is hosting. Tickets to the pavilion cost AED 25, and is open Tuesday to Saturday until the 10th of April.  

Holmes & Watson live on stage

Watch the world’s most famous detective live on stage at The Junction this April in this new play by Jeffery Hatcher and Gautam Goenka. Based on the classic stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this thriller adventure sees Dr Watson on a hunt for his friend after he goes missing and receives messages from three mysterious men all claiming to be Sherlock Holmes.  

Don’t miss this exciting performance, which is on from the 7th until the 9th of April. Tickets start from AED 100.  

Yoga at The Top 

Relax and unwind with a view with a yoga session on the 124th floor of the iconic Burj Khalifa. This breath-taking experience is open to people of all levels, from complete beginners to yoga regulars.. Get your weekend off to a peaceful start with the Friday sessions, or give yourself some mid-week care on the Tuesday sessions. Sessions cost AED 149 and are hosted every week this month.

Enjoy culinary delights at Alserkal’s biggest food festival to date. The city’s coolest arts and culture hub is hosting a series of mouth-watering events and experiences, including sumptuous supper clubs,  homegrown food concepts and food trucks. Join Chef Halawa who is hosting A Night in Palestine, where he’ll be serving traditional Jordanian and Palestinian, or Chef Vikram from The Curry Bureau who will be cooking a modern yet homely take on Indian cuisine using local ingredients. The festival is free to attend and is from the 7th to the 10th of April.
