The Emirates Airline Literature Festival is one of the largest celebrations bringing together home-grown local talent, as well as acclaimed international authors. Dubai Opera raises the curtains for the breathtaking Russian State Ballet and Opera House performance of Giselle. Original libretto by French playwright Jules-Henru Vernoy de Saint-Georges, poet Theriphile Gautier and music by Adolphe Adam. The ballet tells the story of a young ill peasant girl of the name Giselle who falls in love with a handsome Prince named Albreacht. This breathtaking ballet is filled with romance, tragedy and most importantly, hope.
