What’s coming up in Dubai this November

When it comes to keeping residents and tourists entertained, Dubai is never one to be left behind. The month of November is no exception.

The list is chock full of activities that are anticipated every year. And Expo 2020, of course, is still ongoing. If you haven’t been there yet, well, what are you waiting for? Check out our roundup of events and activities slated for November.

Expo 2020

The world’s greatest show is living up to its name. In the first 10 days alone, it saw a steady influx of visitors with a record turnout of more than 400,000!

There is just so much to do at the world fair from collecting stamps for your Expo 2020 passport, and interacting with robot penguins, to going on top of a 55-meter-high garden. There is also the do-it-for-the-Gram feature called Surreal, a reverse waterfall that puts on a one-of-a-kind show by combining the elements of water, earth, and fire.

Global Village

Dubai’s annual one-stop shop for the best entertainment, shopping, dining, and attractions recently reopened for its 26th season. The multicultural theme park is now even more spacious with some 2,500 square meters added. That means more things to do, stuff to see and food to eat in pavilions from countries all over the world. This family destination guarantees a brand-new experience every year and this one is no exception!

Diwali

The five-day Festival of Lights is one that many look forward to every year. Whether you are celebrating it or not, this celebration of the trump of good over evil is hard to miss when you’re in Dubai. The glitz and glam of the city are stretched even further as the emirate prepares for the fest and festivity across the city with spectacular fireworks and a host of events from Thursday, 4 November. Some of the venues promising to light up the evening are Bluewaters Island, Dubai Festival City Mall, The Pointe, and Global Village.

Andrea Bocelli Live

The world’s most popular living tenor, Andrea Bocelli, is performing live in Dubai as part of his Believe tour. The Italian superstar is undeniably one of the finest artists of this generation with 15 albums to his name and selling more than 75 million records to date. This not-to-be-missed show is scheduled on Monday, 8 November, at 8:30 pm at Events Arena, Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Rag’n’Bone Man Live

Rory Charles Graham, better known as Rag’n’Bone Man is set to perform at the Coca-Cola Arena on Friday, 26 November, at 9:00 pm. The UK-based pop, blues and R&B sensation known for his deep baritone voice will serenade the audience with new songs from his recently released album, Life by Misadventure. This is the British soul singer’s second show in the UAE, having sold out his first concert at Dubai Opera in 2017.
