Having graduated from Sheffield University with a degree in Law and Criminology, Richard began his career in property in 2004 at a top London estate agency. Over the last 15 years, Richard has grown and managed teams in sales, leasing, property management and financial services. Richard also spent two years heading up the expansion and acquisition plan of the UK’s third-largest estate agency group before taking the position of Managing Director for London and the Homes Counties, running a network of 40 branches.

Richard joined the Betterhomes family in 2017 as Director of Brokerage, managing sales and leasing for both residential and commercial departments. In January 2020, Richard was promoted to become the Group Managing Director. He has overseen the acquisition of Ascot & Co. and the launches of CRC, a commercial real estate consultancy, and Linda's Real Estate, a community-based brokerage, as the Betterhomes Group continues to expand.

Richard lives in Umm Suqeim with his wife and three daughters.
